Sweeping proposals are coming in the pre-launch 18th Edition for January 2018.
The principle one which affects overhead cabling has done away with the wording “all escape routes” as being open to misinterpretation. In its place: “All cables, everywhere, to be protected against premature collapse by metallic supports only”.
As market leaders in metallic supports for overhead cabling Firefly is well placed to support the industry. Additionally, our range of unique spring-loaded fire clips are the only clips that toughen their grip as fire takes hold.
